The Black Stallion is a book that always wants you to turn its page. It is about a boy who meets a stallion on an island, takes him home to America where they discover his gifted speed and prepare him for a race. I would recommend this book for people who like realistic fiction. I felt very excited every time I turned the page. You can feel the excitement too and find out what happens to the boy and his “fast as flash” horse in this adventure filled story.
