The Homework Machine

Dan Gutman

When us kids first hear the title, we think it sounds pretty cool. And then it dawns over us. What if we never, ever had to do homework again? This seems to work out fine for Brenton, Kelsey, Sam, and Judy until their teacher starts noticing the difference between their test grades and their homework scores. Join these four fifth graders as you find yourselves being followed by a mysterious person and blamed for something that could cause you a sentence in jail. I give this book an A+ and recommend it for grades 2 and up. Happy reading!
